Professor François Ducray, MD, PhD, is a neuro-oncologist at the HCL – Hospices Civils de Lyon and the Centre de Recherche en Cancérologie de Lyon (CRCL) in Lyon, France, where he is currently recruiting patients for the LEGATO study.

An active leader in clinical research, Professor Ducray is the local principal investigator and/or national coordinator of more than twenty ongoing clinical trials. These studies focus primarily on glioblastomas, lower-grade gliomas, and meningiomas, reflecting his commitment to advancing treatment options and outcomes for patients with brain tumors.

Professor Ducray highlighted: “In my center me and my colleagues are actively proposing the LEGATO trial to the patients because we think that the role of re-irradiation is a key question in glioblastomas management and LEGATO offers a unique opportunity to answer this question.”
